Deep fin keel
Owned for the past 8 years by an experienced elderly owner, who has sadly now died and his son is dealing with sale of boat for the family. Fifer has been sailed extensively around the north of Scotland, including St. Kilda, Shetland and Faroes and throughout the Western Isles. She has also sailed round Britain and cruised extensively in the Baltic.
This 1980 Sadler 32 is for sale at an attractively low price, mainly on account of certain interior minor refurbishments now required. However, electronics are more than adequate with Standard Horizon plotter, Taktik instruments, Icom VHF and Simrad autopilot - also good ground tackle, liferaft and EPIRB and powered by a Vetus 28hp fresh water cooled engine. Deck gear is believed to be sound with recent mast/rig replacements and Profurl, plus main and genoa (all in 2008).
Fifer will appeal to the single-handed yachtsman who wishes to acquire a well-found and capable cruising yacht at a modest price - now reduced to £12,500 and reasonable offers will be considered.
